MESSAGE TO ALL MEMBERS
From the Desk of the Director-elect
Dear Fellow Rotary Leaders, Rotarians and Rotaractors in Africa,
As we begin this new Rotary year, I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation
to the leaders and members who served with dedication in 2024–2025. Your
tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to our shared ideals have paved
the way for even greater impact in the year ahead.
This year, we are called upon to UNITE FOR GOOD. It is more than a
message, it is a responsibility. Across Africa, Rotary continues to be a beacon
of hope, compassion, and action. Each act of service — no matter the size,
brings us closer to the continent we envision: one of dignity, opportunity, and peace for all.
Membership remains our greatest strength as well as our inalienable responsibility. As we grow
Rotary in Africa, let us focus not only on attracting new members but also on engaging,
mentoring, and retaining those already among us. Strong, inclusive, and vibrant clubs are the
cornerstone of sustainable change. It is time to create more of such clubs.
Let us also deepen our commitment to collaboration across clubs, across borders, and across
generations. Let us uplift the vulnerable, invest in our youth, give to our foundation, and lead
projects that create lasting transformation in our communities.
I thank you all for the opportunity to start my service to you from this day as RI Director-
Elect (RIDE). Together, we will continue to shape the story of Rotary in Africa: a story of
unity, innovation, and impact.
